uLooms CMS Guide

uLooms Money CMS v2.0 Guide

1: Getting a website. (If you already have a domain and hosting please skip to section 2.)

Purchasing a domain name.

In order for you to use this product you will need 2 things, a domain name such as http://yourdmain.com and a webhost ( a place to store your files).

Lets start with the domain name you can do a search at Godaddy to find available domains. it is very easy to setup and if you use the code OYH7 when paying you will save $2.50 so your price will be $7.49/yr. Not bad.

Go Daddy $7.49 .com domains 468x60

Select a hosting account.

Ok now you have a domain name, you will now need a place to put your website files called a hosting account. Now there are tons of options here as well as using godaddys own service. But I prefer to use Hostgator. I started using them when they first started and have never had a problem. You can signup for their basic package and run almost unlinited sites from it. Best of all they are month to month so the cost to start is under $10.

2: Upload the files.

Once you have your domain name and hosting account you will need to upload the uLooms script. There are 2 ways you can do this, either by FTP or using the built in CPANEL that comes with your hosting account. I recomend using a FTP program such as FlashFXP or CuteFTP ther are frre ones just do a Google search.

Unzip the package to a folder on your computer using WINzip or WinRAR.

Upload the entire contents to the webroot or subfolder of your choice. i.e /public_html/

Thats it! Simple wasnt it.

3: Setting up your site.

Once you have your files uploaded you will want to use your web browser and navigate to http://YourDomain.com/admin

Enter your login and password. the login is your email address you used to purchase the software and the password is "ulooms" (this can be changed after loging in.

Visit each link on the left and fill in the proper details, instructions are give for each field.

Thats it your site is setup! Now all you have to do is promote it and start making the $$$
